ITALY - The “Legambiente” organisation in Italy has determined that the ski resort of Selva Gardena is the most environmentally friendly community in the country.
In the Italian weekly magazine “Panorama” the organisation notes that the sources of renewable energy in Italy are increasing and that Selva Gardena is in first place with an average of one square metre of solar panel coverage per habitant.
The magazine lauded the resort as a leading light in the installation of renewable energy and publicising the community’s responsibility towards nature and environment.
