Val di Fassa / Fassatal , the Dolomites, the Italian Alps Val di Fassa is situated in between the towns of Moena and Canazei. Gruppo del Sella mountain massif and Marmolada (3,343 m), the highest mountain top of the Dolomites, are the dominant features of this resort. You can either use a ski pass valid in Val di Fassa only (180 km or runs) or Dolomiti Superskipass. Special price packages, including free accomodation and ski passes for children, are used as a lure to attract families to spend their winter vacation here. Sella Ronda, the world-famous round ski area, can be reached by a cable car from Campitella. Then, you can easily get to other huge ski resorts such as Arabba, Val Gardena or Alta Badia. Sass Pardoi provides you with adrenalin skialpine tracks. Fans of downhill skiing should not miss the opportunity of skiing on the Marmolada Glacier. Sella Ronda offers you a chance that you will experience all its runs, but certainly not the same twice. There are two funparks for snowboard enthusiasts in Val di Fassa – Belvedere/Canazei and Ciampac/Alba; moreover they can make use of attractive slopes for all levels between Sella, Marmolada, Langkofel and Rosengarten massifs. Broad runs are also sutiable for carving.
