Ultental , the Sarntal Alps, Italy Winter skiing in the Ultental/Deutschnonsberg ski resort will let you enjoy the best winter holiday of yours. The resort adjoins the Ortler massif and rises up to 2600 m. The family atmosphere of the resort is a pleasant surprise as no one is pressed by time and there is no stress about it. Apart from standard runs and cross-country trails, it would be a sin no to mention the hiking trails. The surrounding eight villages have indeed something to offer – 25 km of marked trails. People in this region are very hospitable and offer several aprés-ski bars and restaurants. The runs are only mild and suitable for families with children and for those who do not rush anywhere.
