Limone Piemonte (1010m - 2050m)

Limone Piemonte , the Maritime Alps, Italyonly 50 km far from here. The humid air from the sea assures enough snow from December to April – if needed however snow cannons are ready to help. Smoothly combined system of lifts, cable cars and runs comfortably connects the resorts of Limone (Maneggio and Sole), Cole di Trenta (Tre Amis) and Limoneeta. Most of the Limone slopes are suitable for intermediate and advanced levels, nevertheless even beginners will find something for them here. Monte Alpeta offers a pleasant experience on its wide treeless slopes for snowboarders and carvers, for families with children and advanced skiers as well. Somewhat poorer are the cross-country skiing facilities. Even though the national biathlon races take place in this area, the only suitable trails for tourists are in the neighboring Panice Sottano.
