Valmeinier-Valloire (1430m - 2594m)

Valmeinier-Valloire , the Dauphiné Alps, France In the heart of Maurenne in the south of Savoy there are two interconnected ski resorts both providing visitors with great slopes set in a beautiful countryside, real comfort and a possibility of spending active winter holiday. All the slopes that are to be found here are equipped with snow cannons that are used up to 2,100 m of altitude. There is a total numer of 32 lifts and cable cars available and a runs in a total lenght of 150 km, wide enough for carving. Freeride fans can enjoy snow deep skiing and snowboarders are offered a funpark with a halfpipe and boardercross. Apart from these, in Valmeinier-Valloire you can also enjoy rich aprés ski activites – restaurants, bars and discotheques, skating arena, bowling, fitness centre with gymnastics and yoga, sauna, cinema and library, concert hall, paragliding, dog sleigh rides and many others. You will have to try hard to get bored here.
