Val Cenis a Termignon (1400m - 2800m)

Val Cenis a Termignon , Vanoise, the French Alps Val Cenis and Termignon are middle-sized ski resorts that lie in Maurienne valley not far from Italian border and on the edge of National Park de la Vanoise. Val Cenis, picturesque ski centre, is composed of two little villages of Lanslevillard and Lanslebourg, linked with ski buses. Termignon is fine for family skiing. Mutual connection between Termignon and Val Cenis is based only on ski buses, ski lift connention is missing yet. The overall drop is 1 400 m, ski resorts offer high variety of ski slopes, 2 snowparks and great terrains with powder snow for freeriders. North slopes, vicinity of glaciers and altitude of more than 2 800 m support good spring skiing conditions.. Most ski routes are snowed in spring too. For cross-country skiers there are panoramic ski tracks along the Val Cenis Lake. Besides skiing and snowboarding, some snowshoes tours, paragliding, mountain climbing, ice-skating, swimming pools and of course large amounts of shops, restaurants and bars are around. In your winter holiday you may include Beaufort cheese manufactory or Savoyan markets with local specialities.
