Tignes - ledovec Le Grande Motte (2570m - 3450m)

Tignes - ledovec Le Grande Motte , Vanois, the French Alps By connecting Val d´Isére with the modern ski resort Tignes (2,100-3,500 m) the biggest ski complex of the Savoy region was created. Its high altitude guarantees plenty of quality snow all year round and thus even spring and summer skiing. The glacier with its summit 3,650 m high allows skiers to do their beloved sport 365 days a year. On 130 hectares skiers will find 20 km of runs. The Perce-Nege metro – cable car will whisk you up to the peak in less than seven minutes. A capacious pendular cable car runs to the top of the runs. The highlight of this Glacier is an incredibly-well equipped snowpark for snowboarding, 175 m long and 600 m wide. The modules are made of snow on the Rosolin slope. Usually there are 12 modules of different sizes – big air, spine, tables, handrails and flat zones and, moreover two U-ramps (master pipe and for beginners). The hit of the last season was a zone with barbecue and loudspeakers. Due to these marvelous facilities, up to 500 people come to this snowpark every day.
